All the printers I seem to look at, once you specify driver settings (or just hit print with the default as A4), from the panel on the device you only get the option of loading the correct paper or cancelling your job, and god forbid you put the wrong paper size in there because they will jam up.
All things considered I'll just repair our 4250, I was just after a modern machine which operated the same way.
